Movie Trouble Makers & Truth Tellers

Basicly every movie ever created has a trouble maker, truth teller story line. Every movie, even kid movies, has a good guy bad guy relationship. This relationship usually defines the movie to being what it is. The constant feud and butting of heads is what helps the story line keep viewers interested.

One recent series of books and movies that has this type of relationship is the Twilight saga. The Character of Edward is portrayed in the movie as being the good guy, or truth teller. The character of Jacob is portrayed as being the trouble maker, or bad guy. This relationship interests people in the film because it creates tension. It also keeps the viewer interested because they are always wondering who will win in the end, the truth teller or the troublemaker. The Truth teller, Edward, has his image is built off of the fact that he is a nice honesty guy who only wants the best for people. The reason the trouble maker, Jacob, is portrayed as the trouble maker is because he is trying to steal over Edwards girlfriend Bella. He tends to to to accomplish this by doing some mean and unfair things.

Another movie that uses the relationship of truth telling and trouble makers is the Lion King. In this movie Scar is viewed as the trouble maker who will do what ever it takes to become the King. The truth teller is portrayed by Simba's father whom is the king and is very wise and honest. Once he is killed the truth telling role is passed over to Simba.

In the movie Step Brothers, the trouble maker role is played by the older brother and the truth tellers are played by the two "step brothers". The trouble maker is viewed as the bad guy because he constantly is picking on the two other brothers and making their lives harder. He comes off as cocky, aarogont and just very unlikable. The two other brothers are seen as the truth tellers because they are always honest, saying how they feel even if it's not always the right thing to say. They never mean any harm they are always just having innocent fun. This movie uses a comic way of showing the realtionship of truth telling and trouble making.

These three examples show how this common relationship of truth teller and trouble maker has been used in every type of film from romance to Disney to comedy. This basic idea is what helps movies have a story line, it also gives people a character to like and to hate.
